THERE’S ALWAYS SOMETHING pretty neat about two high-profile sports stars showing some admiration and respect for each other.
Steph Curry and Lionel Messi are the latest example.
It was the Golden State Warriors’ man who started it off last December when he sent a signed shirt to the Barcelona attacker for reaching 30 million Instagram followers.
Messi told Curry that he’d do something similar once the reigning NBA MVP hit the 10 million mark.
And, the Argentine has been true to his word.
Curry posted to the social media site on Saturday night and showed off the present that had arrived from Catalonia.
“Thanks for all the messages and positive energy this past week”, he wrote.
“This gift was a great reminder of how incredible and supportive the fans are through everything. Thanks for helping me celebrate this milestone, @leomessi!”
