Stoichkov poses with dead animals on Safari

The ex-Barcelona striker, known as ‘The Dagger’, has sparked outrage.

BULGARIA LEGEND HRISTO Stoichkov is facing widespread public horror after pictures surfaced of him posing next to numerous dead endangered species in South Africa.

The former Barcelona attacker, 50, appears next to giraffes, crocodiles, zebras and several other at-risk creatures whilst on a big game hunt in Safari.

Photographs of his supposed killing-spree also include an antelope, lynx, wild boar and buffalo.

Stoichkov is seen smiling with an array of different dead animals alongside a park employee with a rifle in shot.

It is unknown when the pictures of the two-time Fifa World Player of the Year were taken, with the pictures materialising on the website ‘Mebenca in Afrika’.

Mebenca is a wildlife reserve in the Limpopo Province, where tourists can walk among wild animals and kill the prey themselves.

Stoichkov, nicknamed ‘The Dagger’, was a prolific striker in his heyday for club and country but was infamous for his short on-pitch temper.
