Here's the 15 Tipperary players that will try to make All-Ireland U21 football history

Tipperary take on Tyrone in Saturday’s final in Parnell Park.

TIPPERARY HAVE NAMED the 15 players that they hope will make All-Ireland U21 football history on Saturday night.

Tipperary have named an unchanged side as they prepare to face Tyrone in the decider in Parnell Park of the EirGrid sponsored championship.

The Tipperary management have kept faith with the side that saw off Dublin by 0-14 to 0-12 in their recent All-Ireland semi-final clash. Before that Tipperary had seen off Clare and Cork in the Munster U21 championship.

Saturday will be Tipperary’s first ever appearance in an All-Ireland U21 football final after they claimed the county’s second ever Munster U21 title this season.

Five of the Tipperary team started in the 2011 All-Ireland minor final win over Dublin are named in the team for Saturday’s game – Evan Comerford, Bill Maher, Colin O’Riordan, Steven O’Brien and Ian Fahey. Jason Lonergan came on as a substitute in that 2011 decider.
