Wes Hoolahan delivered an absolute masterclass for Norwich today

The 34-year-old scored one and assisted on another as the Canaries made light work of Blackburn.

WESLEY HOOLAHAN HAS enjoyed himself in recent months and his impressive form shows no sign of stopping any time soon.

He played an integral role in Norwich dismantling a hapless Blackburn Rovers in their Championship opener at Ewood Park.

The Canaries eased to a 4-1 win with Hoolahan scoring once and adding another assist in a rampant display from the visitors.

The game was effectively over after 25 minutes, with Norwich already 3-0 up thanks to goals from Jacob Murphy and Cameron Jerome – either side of Hoolahan’s calm finish from close range.

Steven Naismith added a fourth just before the hour mark before Anthony Stokes – on his league debut for Blackburn following his summer move from Celtic – grabbed a consolation for Owen Coyle’s side.
