'I came like a king, left like a legend': Clubs on red alert as Zlatan confirms PSG exit

The 34-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC HAS confirmed that he’s leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

Under a picture of the club’s home – the Parc des Princes – the charismatic Swedish striker wrote:

“My last game tomorrow at Parc des Princes. I came like a king, left like a legend’.

The 34-year-old has been at the centre of much transfer speculation in recent weeks as his contract was set to expire this summer and there seemed little interest in extending his spell in the French capital.

Manchester United has been mooted as a possible destination though his age and difficult relationship with Louis van Gaal would surely prove problematic.

Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy may also be in the hunt for Ibrahimovic, seeing as he has previously stated that he’d ‘love’ to play in the United States.

But, it would be a complex move as the franchise already has its three Designated Players that fall outside the league’s salary cap.

Ibrahimovic has enjoyed a spectacular stint in French football since joining PSG in 2012 – winning the league title in each of his four seasons there.

He’s racked up over 150 goals in 178 appearances so far with the current campaign seeing him score 36 times in 30 Ligue 1 games while also adding 13 assists.
