Welcome along as we get set for the live draw for the 2014 GAA championship draws.

Dublin and Clare are still celebrating their triumphs from 2013.

But tonight the first steps towards the 2014 All-Ireland senior hurling and football championships will be taken with the provincial draws taking place.

Tonight’s draw takes place in Croke Park with the football draws in Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster while the hurling draws take place in Leinster and Munster.

It’s the hurling draws first up.

We begin in Leinster with Dublin the reigning champions after their victory over Galway in last July’s final.

There are ten teams in contention with Antrim, Carlow, Laois, London and Westmeath involved in a new round-robin series.

Dublin have a bye to the semi-final stage while Galway, Kilkenny, Offaly and Wexford are also involved.

The top two in the round-robin series qualify for the quarter-finals.

First out is Wexford and they will play the round-robin group winners.

Then there’s Galway who will play the group runner-up.

Next up Kilkenny who will face a quarter-final tie against Offaly.

The quarter-finals are: Group winners v Wexford; Group runner-up v Galway; Kilkenny v Offaly

The semi-final stage sees Dublin up against Group winners/Wexford

And then that means it will be Galway/Group runner-up v Kilkenny/Offaly in the other semi-final.

So to recap the 2014 Leinster SHC sees:
Quarter-finals: Wexford v Group winners; Galway v Group runner-up; Kilkenny v Offaly
Semi-finals: Dublin v Wexford/Group winners; Galway/Group runner-up v Kilkenny/Offaly

And those group games will be contested by Antrim, Carlow, Laois, London and Westmeath.

Next up it’s the 2014 Munster senior hurling championship draw. Clare, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford involved here.

The reigning All-Ireland champions Clare and reigning Munster champions Limerick are both involved here of course

First team out is Tipperary.

And Tipperary will play Limerick in the semi-final stage.

Next up is Clare, who get a bye to the semi-final.

That means Cork will face Waterford at the quarter-final stage with the winners advancing to play Clare.

So to recap here’s the 2014 Munster SHC draw:
Quarter-final: Cork v Waterford
Semi-finals: Cork/Waterford v Clare; Tipperary v Limerick

So that’s the Leinster and Munster hurling draws complete for 2014.

Could Cork and Clare be on course for a potential semi-final meeting next year?

Next up it’s the four provincial football draws.

In 2014 there will be two separate routes through the football qualifier draws, an A and B side.

First up is the Munster draw.

The quarter-final ties see Tipperary up against Limerick.

With Clare to play Waterford in the other Munster quarter-final tie.

Both Cork and Kerry seeded here through to the semi-finals.

Tipperary or Limerick will face Cork.

And that means Kerry will take on Clare or Waterford in the other semi-final clash.

So to recap here’s the 2014 Munster SFC draw:
Quarter-finals: Tipperary v Limerick; Clare v Waterford
Semi-finals: Tipperary/Limerick v Cork; Clare/Waterford v Kerry

Next up it’s the 2014 Connacht SFC draw.

Mayo chasing a fourth successive title next year.

The pre-determined preliminary round ties sees Mayo travel to face New York while Galway travel to take on London.

First drawn out for the quarter-final tie are Roscommon.

They will take on Leitrim in the last quarter-final.

The semi-final draw now takes place.

London or Galway will take on Sligo.

That means Mayo/New York will challenge Roscommon/Leitrim in the other semi-final clash.

So to recap here’s the 2014 Connacht SFC draw:
Preliminary round: New York v Mayo
Quarter-finals: Roscommon v Leitrim; London v Galway
Semi-finals: Roscommon/Leitrim v New York/Mayo; London/Galway v Sligo

Next up we’ve the Ulster senior football championship draw.

The first two teams play each other in the preliminary round with the third to meet the winners of that game in the quarter-final.

In the preliminary round it will be Tyrone against Down.

The winners of that game will face reigning champions Monaghan.

Fermanagh will meet Antrim in another quarter-final clash.

Then it’s Derry against Donegal in their quarter-final tie.

Finally Cavan will take on Armagh at the quarter-final stage.

So to recap here’s the 2014 Ulster SFC draw:
Preliminary round: Tyrone v Down
Quarter-finals: Monaghan v Tyrone/Down; Fermanagh v Antrim; Donegal v Derry; Cavan v Armagh

Could we have a Monaghan and Tyrone quarter-final?

The last draw is for the 2014 Leinster SFC.

Seven counties – Carlow, Laois, Longford, Louth, Offaly, Westmeath and Wicklow in Bowl 1.

Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wexford seeded in the quarter-final ties.

First out is Wicklow.

They will take on Laois in the first round.

The winners of Wicklow and Laois will meet Dublin, the reigning Leinster and All-Ireland champions.

Next out is Longford.

Longford will be up against Offaly.

The winners of that clash between Longford and Offaly are set to meet Wexford.

Next out is Westmeath.

Westmeath, managed by Paul Bealin, will face Louth.

The winners of Westmeath and Louth drawn against Kildare.

That’s it from the six provincial championship draws between football and hurling.
