SINGAPORE DEFEATED NIGERIA in the men’s table tennis semi-finals at the Commonwealth Games yesterday and will face England in the final.

However, it was Nigeria’s Segun Toriola who produced an incredible defensive performance during a thrilling 41-shot rally to win point of the tournament so far in his second match against Ning Gao.
