5 great plays you might have missed in the NFL this weekend

Take a couple of minutes to enjoy these five clips. It’s worth it.

WE SPENT MOST of Sunday in front of the TV watching RedZone on Sky Sports. We need to pass those hours off as “work”, so here are our five favourite plays from the weekend’s NFL action.

Dallas Clark (Indianapolis Colts 17-27 Cincinnati Bengals )

Clark’s one-handed catch was pretty great, but how did he manage to slow his momentum for long enough to get his second foot down in the endzone?

Kevin Boss (Cleveland Browns 17-24 Oakland Raiders)

You know what the NFL needs? More fake field goals.

Fred Jackson (Buffalo Bills 24-27 New York Giants)

Fred Jackson’s 80-yard touchdown run against the Giants was the Bills’ longest since 1990, and the fourth-longest in franchise history. Nice.

Jordy Nelson (St Louis Rams 3-24 Green Bay Packers)

OK, so the Rams’ coverage wasn’t great, but Nelson still had to catch this and step back inside two defenders before taking it to the house. Ballsy move, but it paid off.

Darrelle Revis (Miami Dolphins 6-24 New York Jets)

Revis Island was a lonely place for Brandon Marshall last night. The Dolphins’ receiver got nowhere near Matt Moore’s first-quarter pass and Revis ran it back 100 yards for a pick-six touchdown.
