Manchester United reject Paris Saint-Germain’s approach for Januzaj

The French champions have registered their interest in the 19-year-old, but the player’s agent claims Louis van Gaal has no plans to let the Belgium international leave

ADNAN JANUZAJ’S AGENT has revealed that Manchester United have rejected an approach from Paris Saint-Germain for the Belgian winger.

The 19-year-old has struggled to secure a regular place in Louis van Gaal’s side and has made just 13 appearances in all competitions this season, but the midfielder’s representative, Dirk de Vriese, admits the French champions have already signalled their interest.

“Yes, PSG have shown themselves to be interested this winter,” De Vriese told Foot Mercato. ”They directly contacted Manchester United for information.

“Louis van Gaal announced that Adnan cannot leave this winter, either permanently or on loan. The coach considers him as an important player for squad. He is counting on everyone.

“It seems like a final decision, I don’t think that it will change.”
