Fans of Street Fighter will love this Brazilian TV ad for Aldo v McGregor

UFC 189′s main event has been given the 90s video game treatment.

WITH LESS THAN seven weeks to go until UFC 189, the various media outlets showing Conor McGregor’s title fight with featherweight champion Jose Aldo are busy promoting their coverage.

And top marks need to go to Brazilian TV station Globo for this effort — which depicts the two martial artists as characters from the everyone’s favourite 90s combat video game, Street Fighter.

Does McGregor look like a cross between Zangief and Sagat to anyone else…?
