ALLY MCCOIST’S REIGN as Rangers boss looks to have ended today.
BBC Scotland are reporting that the Ibrox legend has tendered his resignation to club bosses.
But McCoist will take charge for the game against Queen of the South, unless officials decide otherwise.
The Glasgow giants are currently nine points behind Championship leaders Hearts.
McCoist took over as manager in 2011 and has won two consecutive titles with the club he played with, after their demotion down the divisions.
The club are yet to comment on the reports while Paddy Power have installed Terry Butcher as favourite to take over (with Pope Francis at 1967/1, a nod to Celtic’s European Cup winning season)
