Manchester United talisman Wayne Rooney proved – if proof were needed – that football, and not acting, is indeed his forte.

The England striker creaks as he delivers a couple of scripted lines in a new TV advert for a wine producer alongside Ryan Giggs (best actor in a supporting role) and Patrice Evra (Razzie nominee).

Of course, some football fans will suggest Luis Nani is the best actor at Old Trafford.
