MANCHESTER UNITED MIDFIELDER Antonio Valencia was shown a red card early in the second half of Ecuador’s Group E World Cup clash with France, which finished 0-0.
On the 50 minute mark, the Ecuadorian captain was given a straight red after his studs slid off the ball and raked up the left leg of Lucas Digne. Valencia made no protest as he left the pitch.
