AS IS CUSTOMARY at every World Cup by this stage, RTÉ’s usual analysts were temporarily replaced by the Aprés Match lads for the third-place playoff last night.

The Irish comedians proceeded to do their familiar and uncanny impressions of Eamon Dunphy, John Giles and Bill O’Herlihy among others.

Moreover, one of the most talked-about pundits during this World Cup has been Kenny Cunningham, and the lads typically didn’t hold back in their amusing portrayal of the ex-Ireland defender.
