ARMAGH AND CAVAN have both been slapped with €5,000 fines and five players have been suspended in the wake of the parade brawl before last Sunday’s Ulster quarter-final.

The Armagh county board confirmed today on their official website that they have been hit with a €5,000 fine by the GAA’s CCCC. Armagh players Brendan Donaghy, Kieran Toner and Andy Mallon have all received a one-game ban but Armagh intend to appeal against the decision.

Cavan also received a €5,000 fine while Martin Dunne and Feargal Flanagan are their two players that have been hit with proposed suspensions. It is unclear whether Cavan will appeal against those bans.
