Arsenal to unveil Dennis Bergkamp statue before next home game

The tribute piece to the Dutch maestro will be unveiled before the Gunners home game with Sunderland.

ARSENAL ARE SET to unveil a statue in tribute to club legend Dennis Bergkamp on 22 February.

The former Gunners striker, now assistant coach at Ajax, will join fan favourites Herbert Chapman, Thierry Henry and Tony Adams in being immortalised in statue form. The statue has been modelled on the picture [above] with slightly better ball control, the Dutchman’s footballing forté.

An Arsenal statement read, “The club is also delighted to announce that Dennis has confirmed that he will be present for the statue unveiling [at 11:30am] and will be a guest of Arsenal for the Sunderland match.”
