The SBG fighter will meet Alex White in a featherweight bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Lobov recently appeared on ‘The Ultimate Fighter 22′ and although he lost his elimination-round fight, was given a reprieve by coach Conor McGregor.

He grasped his chance to progress to the final of the tournament and has now been rewarded with a berth on the UFC 196 card, which is headlined by Fabrício Werdum and Cain Velasquez.

His opponent, 27-year-old White, has suffered two successive losses after enjoying a winning debut.

The bout order for the event, which takes place on 6 February, has yet to be finalised.
