Bayern Munich forced to make pitstop as team bus breaks down on the way to game

The Bundesliga champions had their journey to Werder Bremen momentarily delayed.

BAYERN MUNICH MAY be cruising towards another Bundesliga title, but their journey hit a glitch on Saturday as the team bus broke down en route to the Weserstadion for their clash with Werder Bremen.

Two members of staff were forced to manually refuel the coach after it ran out of petrol in just five minutes from the venue in Bremen.

“Our tank was full”, said the club via its official Twitter account, but it lacked the “special mixture”. The reigning German champions suffered no major interruptions for their preparations and arrived on time to earn their sixth consecutive Bundesliga victory.

Goals from Thomas Muller, David Alaba and Robert Lewandowski (2) handed the visitors a 4-0 win.
