Hurler of the Year Richie Hogan was quick off the mark on Twitter last night

Kilkenny star had this classic response to former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins following his TV appearance

FORMER TIPPERARY GOALKEEPER Brendan Cummins and Kilkenny’s Hurler of the Year Richie Hogan enjoyed the screening of TV3′s The Toughest Trade last night. Cummins was filmed banging a baseball into the Nowlan Stand stratosphere and All Star baseball player Brian Schneider was impressed. 

“That’s far man!” Schneider drooled as Cummins used a baseball bat to let fly with one of his trademark long pucks. Cummins smiled: “I’ll tell ya one thing! Tis many’s the day below in Nowlan Park when I playing Kilkenny I wanted to have this in my hand! Come in here Richie Hogan ’till I have a chat with ya!”

But Hogan was quick off the mark with a classic comeback, which Cummins retweeted on his own Twitter page. Have a look at the video here:
