Fermanagh man Dolan sent packing at Ally Pally as his second round hoodoo continues

Jelle Klassen proved too strong for ‘The History Maker’.

FERMANAGH MAN BRENDAN Dolan’s second-round hoodoo at the PDC World Championship will continue for at least another year after he was beaten 4-0 by Dutchman Jelle Klassen at Alexandra Palace.

Dolan has never been past the second round in nine tournament appearances, losing second-round ties on six occasions.

‘The History Maker’ failed to really challenge number 10 seed Klassen, a semi-finalist in last year’s world championship.

Klassen will face Dave Chisnall in the third round after the Englishman overcame Chris Dobey.

Derry man Daryl Gurney is already in the third round and the 30-year-old’s reward for his surprise win against Robert Thornton is a clash against Wales’ Mark Webster tomorrow afternoon.
