Bristol Rovers manager reduced to tears after their relegation from the Football League

Pirate boss Darrell Clarke couldn’t help getting emotional after they were sent to the Conference yesterday.

BRISTOL ROVERS WERE relegated from League Two yesterday after a 1-0 defeat to Mansfield at home — ending a 94-year spell in the Football League.

Manager Darrell Clarke was pictured in tears at the final whistle and struggled to hold them back in his post-match press conference.
