Remember Caleb Folan? He's just signed for a club in Burma

The former Republic of Ireland international has bounced from one country to the next in recent years.

IT’S CERTAINLY AN eye-catching CV.

Caleb Folan has played at various levels of football in the UK, spent some time in MLS and the NASL (the second tier of football in North America), turned out briefly for a Malaysian outfit and he’s now just signed for Burmese club Kanbawza FC.

The team plays in the Myanmar National League and have been a professional operation since 2009. They’re still to win the championship though finished as runners-up in 2012. Last season, they ended the campaign in third place.

Folan’s last featured prominently for a team in 2011, when he scored six times in 26 appearances for Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids. Since then, he’s turned out for T-Team in Malaysia and Bradford and had an unsuccessful trial with Canadian NASL side Edmonton FC earlier this year.

Between 2008 and 2009, the then-Hull City attacker made seven appearances for the Republic of Ireland.
