AFTER THE SUCCESS of MTV’s documentary on the rise of Conor McGregor, film maker Dem Marquez has turned his attention to fellow SBG fighter Cathal Pendred.
Nicknamed ‘The Punisher’, 25-year-old Dubliner Pendred won the Cage Warriors welterweight title in London back in March and is believed to be the next Irish fighter set for a call-up to the UFC.
He defends his title against Che Mills in The Helix on June 1 and the documentary should be out in the meantime.
In it, former Belvedere College team-mate and current Ireland and Lions prop Cian Healy reveals that he has thought twice about getting into the cage with his old friend.
