Irish actor Chris O'Dowd backs the 'Mayo for Sam' campaign

The Bridesmaids star is following in the footsteps of Dubliner Andy Reid.

CHRIS O’DOWD, THE Irish actor of Bridesmaids and The IT Crowd fame, has become the latest well-known figure to support the ‘Mayo for Sam’ campaign.

You may baulk on account of the fact that O’Dowd is a Roscommon native, but a lack of an obvious allegiance to James Horan’s men didn’t stop Dubliner Andy Reid from previously expressing his support for the county.

Of course, O’Dowd has spoken of his love for GAA in the past, and in particular, former Roscommon stars Shane Curran and John Newton.
