Falcao celebrated wildly after powering home a header for Man United

Christian Benteke had opened the scoring for Villa before the visitors hit back.

ASTON VILLA AND Manchester United played out a 1-1 at Villa Park.

The visitors, on a six-game winning streak going into today’s fixture, started well but conceded in the 19th minute.

Belgian striker Christian Benteke controlled the ball on his chest, sidestepped Jonny Evans, and curled a strike inside the David De Gea’s far post.

On 53 minutes, Radamel Falcao, making a rare start, scored his second goal since joining from Monaco with a powerful header from Ashley Young’s cross.

Going by the passionate celebration which followed, it meant a lot to the Colombian.

Gabriel Agbonlahor was then shown a straight red card for a late challenge on Young but Villa held out to earn a point.
