COLM COOPER HAS indicated his surgery was a success, as the Kerry star prepares to start his recovery from a long-term injury.
Cooper ruptured his cruciate after falling awkwardly during the recent All-Ireland Club SFC semi-final between Castlebar and Dr Crokes.
However, the 30-year-old tweeted a pic of himself following his surgery, acknowledging that he now faces a “long road ahead” in his bid to return to full fitness.
