The eagerly-anticipated filmed ‘Notorious’, which is presented by Universal Pictures, will be shown for the first time at The Savoy Cinema on Wednesday 1 November, before general release in cinemas nationwide the following day.

Shot over four years, the documentary charts McGregor’s journey from claiming benefits and living in his parents’ spare room to winning multiple UFC belts and nine figure pay-packets in Las Vegas.

As well as the premiere screening in The Savoy, which will be followed by a live interview with McGregor himself, the film will be shown in various other cinemas on the opening night including Santry, Stillorgan and Dun Laoghaire.

The film arrives in the US and Canada a week later on 8 November, while it’ll be aired in New Zealand and Australia on 9 November. The rest of the world will have to wait until 2018 for a glimpse.

Tickets for the premiere will be made available here.
