Here’s a look at tonight’s fixtures in both codes:

Football

Division 1
Down v Dublin, Páirc Esler, Newry, 7pm

Division 2
Fermanagh v Cavan, Brewster Park, Enniskillen, 7pm

Division 3
Limerick v Westmeath, Gaelic Grounds, 7pm

Hurling

Division 1A
Cork v Kilkenny, Páirc Uí Rinn, 7pm

In Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League, Limerick have hammered Laois by 6-29 to 1-12 at the Gaelic Grounds. We’ll have a report from that game very soon.

To Páirc Uí Rinn in Cork, where the hosts desperately need a victory against Kilkenny. A fourth straight defeat for Cork in the League this year will condemn to a relegation playoff, while a Kilkenny victory would cement a top four place. That’s a notable turnaround for the Cats, who had to preserve their Division 1A status last year by defeating Clare in a playoff.

Will the spirit of 1916 rouse the Rebels this evening? They’re wearing these special commemorative kits for the game.

At Páirc Esler, a fifth straight win for the League champions Dublin beckons against hosts Down, who are rock bottom of the table after four straight defeats.

Here’s a closer look at that Cork kit for this evening. What are your thoughts? Leave your feedback in our comments section.

Half-time in both of our featured games this evening.

We’ll be back in plenty of time for the second halves of our featured games.

Suddenly Cork have a four-point lead as Luke O’Farrell, who’s been good tonight, scores a long-range point.

One-point game again as Lester Ryan strikes from distance!

Conor Lehane on frees with Horgan off and he obliges from a placed ball.

65 mins – Down 1-7 Dublin 1-15

We’ll stay with the hurling for the three minutes of injury time, one of which has already been played.

71 mins – Cork 2-22 Kilkenny 2-22

Conor Lehane levels it up for Cork!

What a chance missed by Bill Cooper for the lead score!

Lehane did brilliantly to pick out Cooper in acres of space but he pulled his shot wide.

73 mins – Cork 2-22 Kilkenny 2-23

John Power puts over the winner for Kilkenny, punishing a loose clearance by Cork goalkeeper Patrick Collins!

Agony for Cork at the death! Patrick Collins had a good game but that was a costly error in stoppage time and John Power punished him. TJ Reid exceptional for Kilkenny tonight. Cork’s senior hurlers now definitely consigned to a relegation playoff following a fourth straight defeat in Division 1A. We’ll pop over to the football for the closing minutes.

You’ve missed nothing in Newry as there are no more scores to report and we have a minute of stoppage time to play.

Looking back on those dramatic closing moments at Páirc Uí Rinn, Cork will feel that Seamus Harnedy should have been awarded a late free before play switched to the other end of the field. Patrick Collins was in control of the ball but sub John Power picked off his clearance and boomed over the winner for Kilkenny, who are through to the quarter-finals.

So, here’s a look at all of this evening’s results:

Allianz Hurling League Division 1A
Cork 2-22 Kilkenny 2-23

Allianz Hurling League Division 1B
