Cork 0-2 Wexford 0-1: 5 mins – Cork go in front with Horgan blasting a 20-yard free just over the bar after Brian Hartnett was fouled. Horgan definitely went for goal there against a packed Wexford defence.

Wexford 1-3 Cork 0-4: 10 mins – Cork cut the deficit as Horgan clips over his first point from play this afternoon.

The first comes from a 20-yard free from Patrick Horgan after Mark Fanning was penalized for over carrying. Then a long ball by Anthony Nash prompted a goal mount scramble which culminated with Conor Lehane getting the last touch to get the ball over the line.
