VIDEO: Dan Carter and the All Blacks take part in staring contest

The All Blacks out-half comes under intense pressure from teammate Israel Dagg.

FOR RUGBY’S ALL-TIME leading points scorer, incredible mental strength is a given. Time and again Dan Carter has shown his ability to kick goals under intense pressure and with the world watching. So surely a simple staring contest would be easy work for the 31-year-old?

Adidas put him to the test against All Blacks teammates Brodie Retallick and Israel ‘Izzy’ Dagg, with a rather surprising outcome. Is it just us, or is blinking not against the rules in a good, old-fashioned stare-off? Some commentators say the All Blacks are the best because they’re not afraid of  cheating, maybe this is a case in point.
