LIVERPOOL STRIKER Daniel Sturridge has revealed that he has undergone successful surgery on his hip.
The England international has consulted with specialists in America following a spate of injuries this season that have seen him miss the majority of the Reds’ fixtures this term.
But the former Chelsea forward posted a hopeful message that he will be fit to return following his operation.

“Just want to let the world know I’ve had a successful operation on my hip today and I want to thank God for allowing that to be possible,” he wrote on his Intagram page.
