HE MIGHT NOT ever be trusted in the national set-up again, but Danny Cipriani is still capable of producing things on a rugby pitch that most England internationals can only do playing Rugby 08 on the PS2.
Sale snatched a late win at Newcastle on Sunday and Cipriani’s deft chip and gather from inside his 22 manufactured the late winner.
Putting Cipriani back into the England team probably wouldn’t be a risk worth taking for Stuart Lancaster but at the moment their attack is extremely predictable – especially with Brad Barritt at 13.
If nothing else, maybe Cipriani will just continue to light up club rugby. Remember how scintillating some of his play was at Wasps?
