FLEETWOOD TOWN WON promotion this afternoon after this mistake by Dean Lyness decided the League Two play-off final.

The Burton Albion keeper misjudged Antoni Sarcevic’s 75th-minute free which dropped over his head and into the empty net for the only goal at Wembley.

It’s Fleetwood’s sixth promotion in 10 years, continuing their remarkable rise through English football.
