Result: Dublin 3-19 Derry 1-10
Major apologies for anyone looking to follow this. We’re having some serious tech issues that we’re trying to resolve.
As it stands Dublin are leading by 0-8 to 1-0 after 17 minutes.
Cailean O’Boyle had given Derry the lead in the fourth minute but have failed to score since and Dublin have rattled off points from the likes of Bernard Brogan, Eoghan O’Gara and Diarmuid Connolly to hold a five point lead.
Dublin 0-9 – Derry 1-00: 19mins - Another Dublin score, their eighth without reply, this time Paul Flynn finishes off after a patient build up.
Dublin 0-10 Derry 1-1: 25mins – After Cluxton points a free from the 45 yard line, McGuckin replies with Derry’s first score since the fourth minute.
Dublin 0-12 Derry 1-1: 29 mins – Dublin on fire here, both Brogan brothers just after pointing gems.
Dublin goal chance but Kevin McManamon, just on for Paddy Andrews, shoots wide.
Apologies for the technical problems during the opening half, Dublin still eight points clear with three minutes left.
Dublin 0-13 Derry 1-2: 34 mins – Emmet Bradley swings over a free for Derry but it’s cancelled out by a Paul Flynn point.

Lengthy stoppage here early in the second-half after Patsy Bradley is injured in the throw in but thankfully he’s back on his feet.
Dublin 0-13 Derry 1-4: 39 mins – O’Kane gets up from defence to punch over a Derry point.
Dublin 0-14 Derry 1-5: 40 mins – Another Derry point, this time from Mark Lynch. Could easily have been a goal as he belted in a shot that hit the bar before going over. The score stemmed from a wayward pass by Johnny Cooper that allowed O’Boyle to intercept and attack. Dublin have responded through Paul Flynn who points impressively.

Dublin 1-15 Derry 1-5: 43 mins – That is surely that. Bernard Brogan looks to have sealed Dublin’s win as he puts them nine clear with an amazing goal. Michael Darragh Macauley made the initial break and when the ball was transferred to Brogan, he unleashed a screamer with his left foot from 25 yards towards the top corner that hit the stanchion before coming back out. Brogan has just added another point.

Dublin 2-17 Derry 1-8: 58 mins – Dublin hit the net for the second time in the game. The move starts with a sublime cross field raking pass by Paul Flynn as he spies Kevin McManamon all alone and he bursts forward in typical style. The first shot is parried by Thomas Mallon but McManamon gets to the rebound ahead of the Derry defence to slap the ball to the net.
Subs: Dublin using their bench now with Michael Fitzsimons and Ciaran Reddin introduced for Rory O’Carroll and Eoghan O’Gara.
Nearly a spectacular goal for Derry as Gerard O’Kane volleys a Mark Lynch pass towards the goal. The ball beats Stephen Cluxton but not the covering Fitzsimons as he blocks the ball on the line.

Dublin 3-19 Derry 1-10: 69 mins – Diarmuid Connolly glides effortlessly through the Derry defence, evading challenges and finishing it off with a swipe of his left foot that sends the ball crashing to the net.
