Diarmuid O'Sullivan rocks eye makeup & a cape in Game of Thrones-style hurling video

But don’t worry – it’s all part of the GAA’s Freestyle Hurling campaign.

THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT tough-guy sports stars and the acting world. Think Eric Cantona, Vinnie Jones or Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Well, now there’s another ‘Rock’ who’s taken a fancy to it.

Legendary Cork hurler (and footballer) Diarmuid O’Sullivan features in a new GAA promo video that’s teeing up the return of the organisation’s Freestyle Hurling competition.

There’s little in the way of dialogue (and by little I mean none) but there are plenty of capes, flicks, tricks and close-ups of the Cloyne man looking very mean and menacing.

We’re not sure the eye makeup suits Sully all that much though.
