DONEGAL’S TALISMANIC CAPTAIN and Dublin’s emerging star.
Michael Murphy and Brian Howard were the recipients of the man-of-the-match accolades after tonight’s All-Ireland senior football Super 8s action in Roscommon and Omagh.
At Dr Hyde Park, Murphy fired 0-9 for Donegal in their victory over Roscommon with five of his pointed efforts coming from play in a superb performance from the Glenswilly man.
While at Healy Park, Raheny’s Howard further embellished his burgeoning reputation in the Dublin senior football ranks as he caused huge problems for Tyrone throughout and was to the fore for the All-Ireland champions.
Both players were rewarded for their exploits with the man-of-the-match awards afterwards but do you agree or think there should have been another recipient?
