FORMER MUNSTER AND Ireland star Donncha O’Callaghan has been named Worcester Warriors’ player of the year.
The 38-year-old Corkman’s excellent season with the Premiership side was rewarded with that and the fans’ player of the season prize last night.
O’Callaghan agreed a new one-year contract with the Warriors last month and was made skipper.
Donncha is a phenomenon,” Warriors director of rugby Gary Gold said.
“He must be one of the most professional rugby players in the world and the manner in which he prepares for matches, mentally and physically, is an outstanding example for any young player.”
