O'Callaghan and Timlin brought into Dublin hurling side for league opener

Dublin travel to Salthill to face Galway on Sunday.

ANTHONY DALY HAS named 11 of the Dublin team that face Cork in last August’s All-Ireland semi-final for Sunday’s hurling league opener against Galway.

Dublin travel to Pearse Stadium in Salthill for their Division 1A opener with newcomers Cian O’Callaghan and Simon Timlin drafted into their full-back line where they will flank last year’s Allstar winner Peter Kelly.

Shane Durkin comes into the side at midfield where he will partner team captain Johnny McCaffrey. Finally in attack Mark Schutte, who was in sparkling form in the recent Walsh Cup final loss to Kilkenny when he shot 0-6, is named at corner-forward.

The four players to make way are Niall Corcoran, Paul Schutte, Joey Boland and David Treacy.
