RICHIE POWER AND Walter Walsh have both been ruled out of Kilkenny’s match with Tipperary in the Allianz League Final at Nowlan Park on Sunday, with respective rib and elbow injuries.

Their absence means Michael Fennelly comes into midfield, while Cillian Buckley also starts. In addition, Michael Rice moves from midfield to centre forward.

Meanwhile, captain Emlyn Mulligan has been named at centre-forward on the Leitrim team that faces New York on Sunday in the Connacht senior football championship.

The provincial opener takes place at 3pm (local time) in Gaelic Park with Leitrim joint managers George Dugdale and Barney Breen having unveiled their starting fifteen for the clash.

Mulligan will lead the attack in a team that features eleven members of the side that started in the defeat to Laois in the All-Ireland qualifiers last July in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The four newcomers are centre-back Gary Reynolds, wing-back Wayne McKeon, midfielder Tomas Beirne and corner-forward Robbie Lowe.
