Enda Kenny urges Ireland to 'sock it to' the English at Wembley

A nation holds its breath.

AN TAOISEACH Enda Kenny was present at the official opening of the National Sports Campus today. And the Fine Gael leader took time out from the ceremony to wish Ireland’s football team well tonight as they prepare to take on England in an international friendly at Wembley.

“I understand 80, 90,000 people are going to turn up,” he said, “so let’s hope we sock it to them again.”
