Fantasy Football fans in limbo as site crashes

Wannabe managers are on the warpath after the Premier League’s fantasy football website goes down on the eve of the new season.

PARTICIPANTS IN THE Premier League’s fantasy football game have been up in arms overnight after the website of the ever popular competition crashed.

Football nerds fretting over the impact the postponed Tottenham v Everton fixture will have on their chances and those who always leave things until the last minute were unable to access the site from Friday evening and right through Saturday morning, well passed the 11.30am deadline.

Radio Aire DJ Rich Williams joked that the fixtures might have to be postponed until the site’s issues were fixed.

But there were plenty of other irate punters expressing their anger on Twitter as they face the possibility of losing out on a valuable week’s worth of points!
