FIFA release Goran Pandev's ballot sheet in bid to prove he voted for del Bosque

The Napoli striker backed up Jose Mourinho’s claims that voting for FIFA Coach of the Year had been rigged against him.

FIFA HAS MOVED to end the Coach of the Year row by releasing a copy of the Macedonian FA’s official ballot sheet, showing captain Goran Pandev’s vote for Vicente del Bosque.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho stirred up controversy this week when he claimed that he boycotted the  Ballon d’Or Gala because the process was fixed.

Spain manager Del Bosque claimed the top prize at January’s ceremony after he topped the 10-man shortlist, beating Mourinho and former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola into second and third place.

But Mourinho’s claims that the ballot was fixed were supported by Pandev this week who claimed that his vote had been altered.

FIFA today released their copy of the fax sent in by the Macedonian FA showing the votes of coach Cedomir Janevski and Pandev. According to the fax, the Napoli striker voted for del Bosque ahead of Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.
