The flying Fijians were at their flair-driven best against Tonga
FIJI WERE ABLE to field a strong team for their IRB Pacific Nations Cup clash with Tonga earlier, with a six-try 45-17 victory the result.
Glasgow pair Niko Matawalu and Leone Nakarawa featured prominently, while Nemani Nadolo, Timoci Nagusa, Watisoni Votu, Akapusi Qera and 38-year-old wing Sireli Bobo provided star quality elsewhere.
Metuisela Talebula, who scored 15 tries for Bordeaux in the Top 14 this season, had to be content with a place on the bench. Fiji were at their counter-attacking, offloading best in Lautoka in front of a crowd of 5,850 as they opened their Pacific Nations campaign impressively.
