Five things we learned this weekend...

I don’t know about you, but this is what I took from the past few days.

1. Like Paul Galvin, Hunty styles himself

Stephen Hunt modelled his latest gear for Wolves’ coach Matt Murray. The former Molineux goalkeeper quickly tweeted the pic.

Give that Waterford man a fashion column in the Indo.

2. Mark Sanchez is staying classy.

The Jets left themselves waaaay to much to do against the Steelers in the second half of their championship game last night.

While on the sidelines, the New York QB used a teammate as a Kleenex.

3. Richard and Andy have previous

They are doing all they can not to laugh at this women’s FA Cup final.

4.  Don’t go drinking if you play for Dublin and have bleached hair

Mark Vaughan revealed in an excellent Sunday Tribune piece yesterday that a member of staff in a certain Dawson Street hostelry called Pat Gilroy one Friday night to let the Dubs boss know that the Kilmacud forward was in situ with a pint.

Gilroy landed in. Vaughan bolted. He hasn’t pull on the old blue jersey since.

5. Fat men can dance

Our NFL columnist Steven O’Rourke alluded to this earlier. But I’m watching it all day.

The Packers be-moobed BJ Rajai brings the ruckus after an unlikely touchdown against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
