Erasmus moulding new role to suit 'what's best for Munster'

The South African also talks about his first time encountering the province.

IT’S SETTLED THEN, we’ll cut the ‘Johan’ out of Rassie Erasmus’ name because ‘only my wife calls me Johan, when she’s upset’.

Munster’s new director of rugby spoke publicly for the first time in this video released by the province today.

The South African speaks about how he and his family have been settling in after a busy summer, but also about how he, his coaching staff and the club are now operating with this brand new role.

“It’s a role that hasn’t been there before, so we can mould it into what’s the best for Munster. That’s what the whole last month was about, aligning our philosophy on and off the field.”
