Follow friday: It's Bernard Dunne

Every Friday we point you in the right direction for some of the most entertaining sportsmen and women on the Twitter.

BERNARD DUNNE MAY be retired from boxing, but that does not mean he’s given up associating with the great and the good of Irish showbiz.

The Super-bantamweight champ of course loves the Dubs and Liverpool, but he also takes a keen interest in beating Paul McGrath (amongst others) on the golf course.

On top of all that he puts himself through he ringer for his kids. Yet he is able to take time out from Jedward concerts and Disney on Ice (not to mention his dinner) to allow us share in the magic via @Bernard_Dunne

No excuses, follow him. Follow him now.

  • Stephen Cluxton isn't a man for Twitter.

It's a good thing these lads were around to spread the news of Jason McAteer's sore jaw.
  • Every cloud has a silver-haired lining.

You just never (ever) know who you'd meet at the Grimes boys' concert.
  • Dunne makes us all jealous with his naturally sallow and photogenic skin.

Not a blob of make-up needed for him before Joe Ward's big win over Kenneth Egan last Friday.
  • This is why Daragh Maloney needed make-up you see.

  • McGrath is a born winner, anything for an advantage.

  • Could probably do with some of those spare balls round about now.

  • Sad state of affairs on Anfield road.

  • Guilty pleasures.

Dunne manages to verbalise that icky feeling we all have about the TV3 series.
  • Try as you might, Dunne will find his way back to a ring one way or another.

  • Preachin' to the choir, champ.
