ARMAGH HAVE HAD to plan for Sunday’s All-Ireland qualifier against Galway without captain Ciaran McKeever as he continues to be sidelined with a calf complaint.

McKeever missed the 2-17 to 2-7 win over Wicklow a fortnight ago but has failed to recover in time for Sunday’s clash at the Athletic Grounds.

Kevin Dyas and Mark Shields are also ruled out through injury but Aaron Findon returns after sitting out the Round 1B fixture. His recovery from an ankle knock sees Tony Kernan drop to the bench.

Galway have also shown their hand with Kevin Walsh making three changes to the side that suffered defeat in the Connacht championship.

Brian O’Donoghue is named in goal where he will replace Manus Breathnach.

In defence Gareth Bradshaw starts at wing-back in place of Patrick Sweeney while Micheal Breathnach’s Peadar Og O’Griofa comes in to the attack at corner-forward instead of Danny Cummins.
