Ireland centre Garry Ringrose.

Garry Ringrose expected to miss Ireland's November Tests

Sam Prendergast is nursing a wrist injury but remains with the squad.

GARRY RINGROSE IS expected to miss Ireland’s upcoming November Tests.

The Leinster centre has been sidelined with a hamstring problem, and an IRFU update issued on Tuesday morning confirmed the 31-year-old “is unlikely to be involved in the forthcoming matches against Argentina, Fiji and South Africa and will continue his rehabilitation with Leinster.”

The Ireland squad are in camp this week as they begin preparations for Friday week’s home meeting with Argentina.

Meanwhile, Jimmy O’Brien is following return to play protocols after sustaining a concussion during Leinster’s URC defeat of Munster on Saturday, with the winger hopefully resuming full training later this week.

Out-half Sam Prendergast remains part of the Ireland squad as he recovers from a wrist injury.

Head coach Andy Farrell has not called up any replacements to join the initial 36-man squad named last week.
