'I think... I got knocked the f*** out' - Groves reacts to KO on Twitter

The Englishman was sent tumbling by Carl Froch in the eight round of their rematch.

GEORGE GROVES’ WORLD title hopes came crashing to earth at Wembley Stadium last night as he was stopped in the eight round of his boxing rematch with Carl Froch.

Groves was flattened by a Froch left-right combination and crumpled in a heap on the canvas, whereupon the referee called a halt to the bout. Just over an hour after the ring was cleared, Groves took to Twitter to state the obvious.

Boxing fans will be watching this crunching blow all weekend. This is one rivalry that has been put to bed, once and for all.
