Want to see an absolute wonder goal from the halfway line?

You won’t see a more audacious strike than this one for a long time.

DURING DEPORTIVO QUITO’S recent 5-1 defeat of Ecuadorian League rivals, Deportivo Cuenca, there was one moment that will live long in the memory for the fans in attendance.

After their opponents’ attack broke down, Alex Colon picked up the ball and attempted an audacious shot just after he crossed the halfway line.

Incredibly, his attempt was so accurate that it caught the goalkeeper off guard and found the back of the net, to onlookers’ palpable astonishment.
